Pressure Washing Equipment Explained by Clarion Clean

Pressure Washing

If you are wondering what kind of pressure washing equipment we use to achieve great cleaning results, this article should answer any questions you may have.

At Clarion Clean, we typically use hot water pressure washers with a flow rate of 5-8 gallons per minute at 3500psi. With this type of equipment, we are able to wash with water temperatures in the 180-200 degree range.

When choosing what type of pressure washing equipment to use, you’ll need to determine the type of project you are working on. ¬†Pressure washing with cold water works very well in certain situations, while cleaning with heat works better in others. For example, if we are pressure washing a building, awning, wall, or fence, hot water is not typically required. Where we find that hot water really excels, is when we are cleaning concrete or parking garages that have grease and oil stains, gum stains, tire marks, and other tough stains. The heat assists with the cleaning so we do not have to use as high of pressure. This is very important because using higher pressure than necessary in any cleaning application is always a bad idea as it risks damaging the surface being washed.

It is always recommended to hire a professional pressure washing company for the best results. For more information on the equipment we use, or our Clarion Clean cleaning process please call 619-647-7717
